Let´s walk through the city with us and if you carefully watch all around, maybe there will begin in your imagination one of the stories from ancient times. Educated and wise people of earlier times have left a number of buildings and historical monuments.
Someone wrote that Brno gives to its residents a sunny naturel and impressive abandon. Come with us look into the history of this place, with other crowds of tourists. Brno is also the ideal place that has the metropolitan nature and still keeps its clarity and a kind of human scale.

We go for a walk to the ancient center of Brno, we can directly enjoy the process of past centuries. Walk through the largest square in Brno, former and current marketplace - Cabbage (Upper) market Kaso Parnas, noting the oldest theater building in the city - Reduta, and a small Spalicek and Baroque Holy Trinity Column. Next is Capuchin Square (formerly Coal Market) and the adjacent durch named Finding sv. Cross, where we can found the crypt with mummies members and benefactors of the monastery, including famous Baron F. Trenk. Following Franciscan church. Mary Magdalene. Our actions will lead towards the monumental Cathedral of St.. Peter and Paul, then move into the area of orchards Denis (formerly Frantiskov) with remnants of medieval walls with bastions (towers). Lets at least look at the castle and fortress Spilberk. That we got to Dominikanske square, New Town Hall Square and moving into the area of Old Town Hall, the tower is decorated with late Gothic portal, from A. Pilgram. After Masaryk street we get the oldest square in Brno - Svobody Square, (also Lower, or Large). The starting point of our observation becomes Baroque Plague Column. Beautifull Schwarcův palatial palace, incorrectly called the House of Lords of Lipe. Following Rasinova and Jakubska street get to the square, which is led by durch of St. James. Journey ends in the square with today's Moravian Church St. Thomas.
